Hi, my name is Keegan Darby. Today I am writing about the NBA draft lottery that will happen tonight at 8 eastern time. Tonight we will know who the new role players and faces of our favorite teams will be. Will there be another Kobe, Lebron? This 2010 NBA draft will be held on June 25. This year draft class is very deep and has a lot of depth. There are a few young talnted players in this years draft that really impress me. My number one player is John Wall for obvious reasons and could be the next Derrick Rose. After that is Evan Turner who reminds me a lot of OJ Mayo and could be a prolific scorer at the next level. Then there is my favorite prospect the 6 foot 10 Derick Favors. Favors is long, and very athletic. He is a player that in a few years we should be able to compare to Lamar Odom. After that there are a lot of other solid players. Just like last years draft lottery was seeing who would be able to select Blake Griffin, this year is the lottery to see who gets John Wall. I am not always saying that it is a good thing to get first pick though, just look back to last year where the Clippers got the first pick, and Blake Griffin would end up being hurt the whole season. The Kings on the other hand had the best chance of getting first pick last year, but got the worst possible pick for their position, the fourth pick. This ended up being very good because they ended up getting the rookie of the year in Tyreke Evans. I don't know what picks will land to what teams, and which players will be great all I know is that our favorite teams will maybe know who the new face of their franchise is going to be after tonight.
