The 2010 NBA draft, was somewhat overshadowed by the Lebron free agency sweepstakes, but who cars many teams still got the future faces of their franchises. The first 5 picks were expected, and very good picks but the shocking one was when the Warriors took Ekpe Udoh with the sixth pick. Udoh is a shot blocker but can't do much else. A very solid pick was the Spurs selecting James Anderson with the twenty second pick, because he averaged 22.5 points per game and is a very consistent shooter. I like that the Thunder traded for Cole Aldrich a must needed center, and acquired sharp shooter Daequan Cook from the Heat. I still think the two best players in the draft will end up being Evan Turner for the 76ers and the best player in the draft Wesley Matthews to the T-Wolves who is already being compared to Brandon Roy!

CANO, Draft recap
Robinson Cano what a kid. 27 years old and this fella is leading the American League in average, hits and total bases! As much as I and many of you hate the Yankees this kid is really good. He has been the most consistent player on the best hitting team in baseball and is the most valuable player on the team with the best record in baseball. Robinson Cano plays second base, and he is a great player but he hasn't always been great. The Yankees tried to basically give this kid away to the Diamondbacks, and Royals but no one wanted him. The 27 year old is only getting 500,000 dollars a year but that is sure to sky rocket soon. He truly is the most valuable player right now in the American League.
