4th of July
What a great sports nation we have. We are the only country that plays real football. The country that dominates in basketball, snowboarding, swimming, cycling, baseball and obviously football. What a Nation we always win the Olympics and always win more golds than expected. Sports wise we are the most talented country, hands down. Rafeal Nadal won another major championship today at Wimbeldon. What an amazing athlete he and Federer are, they both deserve to be up for best male athlete. The NBA free agency is heating up again and big names are finally making decisions on where they want to play. Expect decisions from all the big names next week. Major League baaseball is taking a break from the season to play and attend the all star game. There are many household names playing in the all star game this year and many new names (Omar Infante, Martin Prado, Michael Bourn). Only two Giants players made the roster this year and of course they are pitchers, Tim Linceceum and the closer Brian Wilson. The A's will be represented by pitcher Trevor Cahill. The Rockies are the only team in the MLB not represented by atleast one player in the all star game.

i dont think rafa is that great of an athlete. sure hes got 8 grand slam titles and is now the number 1 player in the world again but that doesnt make him a great athlete. I'd like to see him throw a baseball or play some basketball before saying he's a great athlete.
