Wild Wild Weekend

The NFL season is finally heating up with upsets, and contenders beginning to emerge. The October rain and snow will soon come into play on the east coast, so get your wins now. The Kansas City Chiefs have been a HUGE surprise this year, at their bye week, they are 3-0. Most picked this team to finish last in the division. The horrible, wacky, messy however you want to describe it, the NFC West is by far the worst division in football. The Seahawks are about as inconsistent as teams come now days, the Cardinals are nothing without Kurt Warner, and have no defense. The Rams, who may be the best team in that division are very young, but have some talent. Finally the ugly 49er's. How bad of a team, the Raiders of the past few year, the most dysfunctional team in the league. A team with very high expectations, easy division tons of talent, but one big problem, no quarterback. Alex Smith is a good person, but not a good football team. He takes the team out of each game they play. The coaching staff is a mess, and they need to run the ball way more. This team has yet to win and if they don't step it up soon then wave goodbye to the playoffs.
The San Francisco Giants have clinched the NL West and a spot in the playoffs! This is huge news, frankly because of the lack of hitting and turmoil they had to go through to get to the playoffs. The Giants are a great baseball team, but got a little lucky. The Padres would have won that division had they not lost those ten straight games, or lost 2 of 3 to the Cubs in the final week. But all is over and it will be fun to see the Giants in the playoffs.
