NBA Finals recap

What a memorable Finals this year. The Lakers overcame the fire power of the Boston Celtics and won their second straight championship. We learned that the Celtics have the most streaky shooter possibly of all time in Ray Allen. He single handedly won game two of the Finals for the Celtics, then came back the next day and was one off of setting the record for most missed shots. If the Celtics had Kendrick Perkins in game 7 would they have won? My answer is it certainly would have helped because the Lakers won that game off of offense rebounds. A staggering fact was that whoever won the rebounding total in each game won the game! That was a very sloppy game 7, especially with the fire power and talent of the two teams. The score ended up being what you would normally see at the end of the third quarter, and neither team played their best. Ray Allen may just have been the reason that the Celtics lost that game, and if he would have made only three or two more of the 15 plus shots he missed, they would have won. Nate Robinson and Tony Allen could have played better than Ray. Ray Allen doesn't deserve to be in a Celtics jersey next year! What will happen with these two teams next year? The Lakers won't get worse, but maybe even better as they are discussing a possible deal where they would trade Bynum and Artest for Chris Bosh. The Celtics may get a lot worse as they are aging, and Pierce and Allen are free agents. They should re sign Pierce, and let Allen leave, because Allen had a 19 million dollar annual salary and if he is gone the Celtics will have 19 million dollars to spend on better players!
What a great Finals it was truly one of the best!
