2010 ESPY results

The biggest sports show of the year, the oscars of sports, the ESPY's. The awards show is always very funny and always have special guests that make the show funny.This year the show was hosted by SNL comic Seth Myers and had guest appearences from Steve Carrell, Paul Rudd, Tracy Morgan, Andy Samberg, Peyton Manning, and of couse Will Ferrell. This is a show that is fun for all sports fans as you hear many jokes about atletes that you don't like. This year the jokes were centered around Lebron James, and the aging Brett Favre. If you haven't seen this years show you need to. The award for best male athlete went to Drew Brees in my opinion it should have gone to Jimmie Johnson who has won four straight sprint cup titles and is the most dominant athlete in his sport. Best female athlete went to Lindsey Vonn USA skier, it should have gone to Serena Wiliams the number one and most dominant tennis player of her time. Best play went to Brett Favre last second heave to the end zone that won the game against the 49er's but, it should have been Brian Kownacki jumping over the catcher to touch home plate. Best championship performance deservedly went to Drew Brees. Best breakthough athlete deservedly went to Chris Johnson. The other awards are deservedly correct, except best moment that went to Landon Donovan's goal against Algeria. The award should have gone to when Phil Mickelson wins the masters and goes over and kisses his wife who is suffering from cancer. What a sports year it was, with many great awards being handed out. This will be my last blog for 10 days because I will be going on a vacation, so my temporary replacement will be my marketing manager.
