Tiger Woods shot a 65 today at the Barclays tournament. This is Woods best round this year. He is sharing the lead after the first round, and he is feeling very good. Is he back? Or will he choke? These will be two questions we will ask that will be resolved in 3 days.
Huge news today from the basketball world. The Nuggets have agreed to trade Carmelo Anthony, rather than letting him leave next summer to a different team. He has told the Nuggets numerous times that he doesn't want to be there, and wants out. Melo' has shown interest in being traded to the Rockets, and Knicks. Other teams believed to be pursuing the all star are the Los Angeles Clippers, the Charlotte Bobcats, New Jersey Nets and even the Golden State Warriors. As if there haven't been enough big moves and roster changes already this off season. Whether Carmelo gets traded or not this summer, he won't be in a Nuggets uniform starting the 2011-12 season. My prediction is him going to the Knicks, to play with Amar'e and maybe the Nets. If the Knicks get him, it would instantly bolster their offense. Their have also been plenty of rumors going around that Chris Paul will be leaving. He most likely won't be leaving this year, but probably next year. CP3 is a player that I feel very bad for, because he gives his all every game, but can't win and won't make the playoffs. Dwayne Wade used to be the same way until they brought in the Miami Thrice. The Hornets brought in Trevor Ariza, to help out Paul, but that won't do nearly enough.
I would love to see Carmelo and Chris Paul go to the Knicks to play with Amar'e, that way the Heat aren't guaranteed to win the east, and give some competition.
