Manning Bowl II

The second Manning Bowl, a game like no other in the whole season. A game where football and a profession come between family and brotherly love. A battle of fire and ice, water and stone, older vs. younger, Peyton vs. Eli. The elder vs. the younger, who will win? Will it be a result similar to the first Manning Bowl 3 years ago when older brother got the upper hand, as the Colts beat the Giants. The tides have changed, Eli has a ring(the same number as Peyton) and has become more and more consistent. This is the best brother duo by far in any major sport. They are both pro bowlers. Peyton has always been a star, a second coming of his father Archie...but better. Eli was always in Peyton's shadow throughout the beginning of his career. Eli had to earn and be patient to become the starter for the Giants. He had to wait until Kurt Warner left to Arizona, to be able to prove himself. He had been in older brothers shadow his whole career, until 2007. Eli led his team to the Super Bowl and knocked off the previously undefeated Patriots. Eli is a very good quarterback but still has a little ways to go until he becomes elite. Peyton on the other hand is the best quarterback in the NFL right now. He has been for quite some time and every year you think he might choke, he continues to improve. Peyton is a no doubt hall of famer and surpassed his father a while ago. Eli hasn't passed Archie yet, but will and may even become as good as Peyton, as he gets older. The Colts have been the better team for a while, and this is Peyton's best receiving core he has ever had when talking about depth. They aren't experienced enough for us to tell whether they are better than the trio with Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne and Brandon Stokley. The Giants have a better offense, that is run from the line out. They have two monsters on the line in Osi Umenyiora and Justin Tuck. I expect the Colts to win because I don't see them starting off the year 0-2 but instead 1-1. Will Eli ever catch Peyton? No one knows but this will be a great game. Also watch the Eagles game, or at least stay updated to hear how Michael Vick played. Vick is starting his first game in 3 years. Cooper Manning, the eldest of the Manning brothers will not be attending the Manning bowl but instead watching in the comforts of his New Orleans home. I don't blame him. Stay tuned to the Manning Bowl, it will be awesome.
