Good Luck!
Usually when a person says Good Luck to a college football player it is the situation of them entering the NFL. In this situation it is a very good prospect staying in college. Andrew Luck, the top prospect this year, and guaranteed first pick of the draft will return to Stanford for one more year. Good or bad decision? It is good in the sense that he can improve, that he can win heisman, a national championship and get a degree. All of these reasons are good, but can be contradicted. HE can improve, how many top prospect players that go back to college improve? Not many, he doesn't really need to improve he will be the number one pick no matter what and will get A LOT of money. How can you get better than that? you can't. He can win a heisman, I really don't think that, that is a huge deal if he is in the pros, he doesn't need another award. The National Championship would be a plus, but he NFL is way better and he has the chance to turn around a franchise. A degree is the only reason that I can't argue with, that is a reason that I respect, but why does he need it if he is guaranteed at least 50 million dollars? Adam Schefter, an ESPN NFL analyst has him as the best qb prospect since another former Stanford quarterback John Elway. Had Jake Locker entered the draft last year he would have been a top 5 pick, but he returned to school and got drastically worse. Sam Bradford returned to Oklahoma and hurt his knee, an injury that he will have to deal with for the rest of his life. Andrew Luck, is a great player and will be at the next level, but you made a dumb decision, good Luck.
