Snubbed

Monta Ellis, the third leading scorer in the West and 5th leading in the NBA was again left off the all star team. What's up with that? He was left off, and Carmelo Anthony and Yao Ming made it and are starting. I don't understand why he didn't make the all star game, he would have ended the Warriors streak of 13 straight seasons without an all star. Even Kobe said that Monta deserves to be an all star. Another huge snub was Kevin Love, he is leading the league in rebounding, beating the second place in that category by two rebounds a game. Love is shooting over 40% from the field and is averaging over 21 points per game. He is an all star. Because Yao won't be able to play in the game, David Stern will be able to choose one more player to add to the roster. Let's hop it is one of these two young players. A lot of people don't like the NBA all star game, but c'mon give it some love. After all this is the best of the 3 main sports all star games. Football is dumb because just about anyone makes the game, baseball is OK but let's be honest it is usually a lopsided or low scoring game anyways. Basketball not only has the game which truly brings out each players real personality, but they have the skills contest, three point, celebrity game and the best part, the dunk contest. This year will be another fun year for the midseason game and the festivities in LA will be rockin.
