Jordan and Pippen the best duo of all time?

Before I start discussing Jordan and Pippen, I want to talk about Brett Favre. He hasn't officially "retired" yet (if that means anything to him). He has been keeping his decision about returning to the Vikings private, but I expect him to open up soon. There are two reasons he is waiting to announce his decision. First he wants the media attention, and drama. Second he doesn't want to go to training camp, and he can miss most of his preseason games. His actions of skipping, are not fair to the rest of the team. What is up with sports stars only caring about the media and not the passion of the game? Lebron did the same thing with his "decision".
Who is the best NBA basketball duo of all time? There have been many great duo's some more popular then others, but I have narrowed it down to a few.
-Magic Johnson and Kareem
-Jerry West and Wilt Chamberlain
-Shaq and Kobe
-Bill Russell and Bob Cousy
-John Stockton and Karl Malone
-Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen
Who is the best? Jordan and Pippen, followed by Cousy and Russell, then Magic and Kareem. Pippen and Jordan won six NBA titles together, and none without each other. They may well be the best duo of all time in any sport. They were remarkable. They set the record of wins in a season, when they won 72 games. A streak that may never be broken. Jordan and Pippen have the most rings of all time. They may have had help with Rodman, but he was good because of these two players. Cousy and Russell were before my time, but from what I haer, and on paper they are a great duo. Magic and Kareem of course are at the top. Kobe and Shaq may be ranked higher but Shaq left.
