NBA lockout

The NBA, arguably the most exciting sport in America is now, like the NFL locked out. This means that teams can't sign, trade or do anything to help their team, in fact all they can do is wait until the owners and players association get things worked out. The players can at most work out by themselves. Hopefully the owners and players can agree in good terms soon so that we can have a basketball season. In my opinion their is more lost if we lose an NBA season this year rather than NFL losing a season. A major reason is because the NBA is coming off a great season and needs to keep that momentum rolling. Last year we witnessed Lebron making his decision and headlining the best free agent class of all time and to stop all that momentum gained would be horrific. Their needs to be an NBA season next year. We don't know yet wether or not the NBA or NFL will have a season, but what we do know is that college basketball and football will still go on. Therefore making these two college sports more exciting and easier to follow. College football is coming off a great year with very good players led by Cam Newton and will be welcoming in many new faces. College basketball will be returning a lot of the top talent from last year, something that usually doesn't happen. We will most likely witness the biggest rivalry in college basketball be between two of the top 3 teams in the nation, Duke and North Carolina. Both of these teams are stacked and will be ranked in the top 3, along with Kentucky at least to begin the year. Kentucky has had very good teams these past two years, led by high powered freshman and this year will be returning more players then ever and gaining, as usual a lot of new talent coming from the freshman. The best player on Kentucky next year, may also be the best player in the nation, a 6'11 power forward named Anthony Davis. He has all the skills of an elite power forward but can also play point guard. This is because he was 6'3 entering his senior year and grew 8 inches last year. So he has played point guard his whole life. He is a great player.
