The Bills are 3-0 if I told you that at the beginning of the season before they played any games you would say i'm whacked. Well they are! On paper, they are one of the worst 3 teams in the NFL but on the field they are undefeated and that's all that matters. They won't continue this incredible run much longer though, don't be fooled already. A team that very well may be for real is the 2-1 Raiders. Maybe i'm a little biased, as an avid member of the Raider nation but they sure do look good. That bruising defensive line and the leagues best running back so far this year has them and their ancient owner thinking playoffs. Darren Mcfadden has been a force, but not the only exciting player in the league. Cam Newton, looks like quite the player but again don't be fooled he will decline very very soon. The Redskins play on Monday night against the 'Boys from Dallas and could very well win that game.
The MLB playoffs are starting soon and what is happening to the Red Sox?? By far the most talented team in baseball, but injuries and a relaxed attitude have cost them. Them and the always interesting Rays are battling it out for the wild card. I am sticking with my world series pick of Phillies over Tigers. Verlander is the best pitcher we have seen this decade and deserves the MVP.
Bills? Bills? .... how about DETROIT?! Let's take a deep dive in the awakening of "Motor City"!! Tigers... awesome team. Lions... playoffs? Red Wings...? Pistons... ok, ok... it will be a long time before the Pistons are good again. But, Boston/New England have dominated in sports... what if Detroit, aka Motor City, teams take a run at it!
ReplyDeleteLet's hope the Tigers prevail, they already passed their toughest test...the mighty Yankees. Still hoping those Lions keep winning also it's just what Detroit needs, they go nothing going right now, its changing that city hopefully bringing some life back to MoTown!
ReplyDeleteHey! What's your update on giving Verlander the MVP?! Great pitchers (or players) get it done in the post season. Verlander played some of the best, consistent ball during the season.... but it doesn't carry over to the playoffs, how "valuable" is he?
