College football updates...the year of defense

This year college football seems almost predictable. Their haven't been any major upsets to top ranked teams...yet but their have been many mediocre upsets. The top 3 teams LSU, Oklahoma, and Alabama have looked really good this year, but because their defense has dominated games. LSU is playing with a mediocre senior white quarterback(just not used to seeing white QB's at LSU since Matt Flynn) and a few good running backs, but really no household names, yet they are the #1 team in the country. Why? Because they play great defense. Oklahoma has the best offense of the three but still won't blow anyone away with their running game, and their strong suit has been their defense. Alabama plays nasty, physical football and that's the way these kids are trained to play down in 'Bama. Roll Tide is their slang and for most of these players, their first words. Their dreams and aspirations were always to play for the Tide and now that they are there, they are taking advantage of it. I have already heard experts say that this year's Alabama defense is the best ever. They have a very physical run game led by Trent Richardson and the best defense in the nation and that usually leads to big things--we will see. In terms of who the national champion will be... my guess is as good as anyone's but here we go. LSU and Alabama will have to play eachother so that automatically eliminates one of them from the title race and I think LSU will win tat game because of experience over Alabama and their sophomore quarterback. Because of this win over Alabama I do see LSU running the tables and being the #1 team entering bowl selection Sunday. I also see Oklahoma running the tables because of their experience and somewhat easy schedule the rest of the way, I just don't see anyone being able to beat them. Here is my wild card, their will be 2 other teams to run the table, Boise State(that's a given) but also my bold prediction...Wisconsin. The bowl selection will be filled with drama because of these 4 undefeated teams and this is how I see the season playing out. The eventual champion: Oklahoma over LSU
