It's Here

The first pick is Anthony Davis. He is untouchable. There are only 3 players right now that teams wouldn't trade for Davis, that is Durant, Lebron and Chris Paul....maybe Rose. That means every other player in the league is fair game.

Here is where the draft gets interesting. Sources tell me that they are looking to move out of the 2 spot in order to secure more picks because they have no talent on the team. They should have just traded the Charlotte Bobcats for the University of Kentucky basketball team and they would be in better position. I believe Cleveland will trade the 4&24 picks for the second pick in order to secure the future Eric Gordon (Bradley Beal). The Cavs would love to pair him with his friend Kyrie Irving. AN interesting rumor going around is James Harden for the number 2 pick. If i'm the Bobcats i'm taking it, but I don't see how it helps the Thunder other than financially. They may be a small market team but this isn't Moneyball and Billy Beane isn't the GM, he actually cares about winning.  I'm not convinced we can start calling Beal the future Wade or Eric Godon 2.0, but I just called cross-racial NBA comparisons and they can't get back for 36 hours so we will see if they draw a Mike Miller comparison.

The third pick goes to the WizKids, DC is in good position to secure a playoff spot next year as long as John Wall does the "John Wall" and carries the big Brazilian Nene. If they can get Beal then they are a playoff team in the East. The trade for Ariza puts them in position to draft the best player available here and not reach for Barnes. If Beal goes at the number 2 they should take Thomas Robinson. I'm convinced RObinson will be a good player in the NBA and he is worth the 3 pick. Everyone needs to stop calling him "undersized". Plus, he has a great story, where all his grandparents, and both parents died in the same month. It's going to have a storybook ending and a guy that is motivated to take care of his younger sister, that is something scouts need to look at. No doubt that chip on his shoulder will make him more successful.

The Cavaliers better not pass on Kidd-Gilchrist. Plus MKG was friends with Kyrie in high school, that means great chemistry. MKG should have gone number 2. If I was picking he would go number 2. I don't see how you can say Barnes should go over MKG. MKG worked Barnes in high school and then outplayed him again in college. If Barnes is chosen over Kidd-Gilchrist then we can eliminate college basketball as a device to scout NBA prospects. Barnes is a shooter period that can't drive. MKG is a winner that improves your team by 8 wins alone. The Cavs get him and sign a big man they will be in the playoffs. Other than maybe Vicodin there will be no better remedy for Cavs fans still sulting over Lebron's championship then MKG will provide. MKG is a winner and I will guarantee he gets multiple rings. MKG is good friends with Kyrie?!!! Yes I defeinitley am willing to spend my fourth pick on him so he can play video games with my best player (no sarcasm).

I have about as good idea as anybody of who the D-League team will draft this year. It's sad that the Kings have all thugs that don't play defense and want to jack up 20 shots a night. The Kings have talent no doubt, Cousins is really really good. They're just the greatest, I wouldn't let Geoff Petrie organize my kids birthday party. Kings fans there is hope, just hope that the Kings don't trade that pick and keep your fingers crossed that Robinson falls.

The 6th pick is simple, the Blazers should take Drummond. That is a good fit with him and Lamarcus Aldridge. You don't tkae him then they better take the Oakland native Damian Lillard then get a center with their other lottery pick. Too bad Drummond or Lillard aren't friends with Kyrie, they would have gone fourth pick! There are a few things wrong with Lillard, he went to Weber State, he isn't an exceptional passer, he went to Weber State, he isn't a slasher, he went to Weber State, he didn't bloom till his junior year or have a great college career and one more thing, he went to Weber State.

MKG falls to the Warriors they will make the playoffs next year. I may have just gotten my hopes up way too much because now I know any other pick may be a dissapointment. Especially Drummond. Please don't draft Drummond! If he is there at 7 then trade the pick to Phila for Igoudala. I like Dion Waiters in a one on one tournament but the problem is he is just that, a one on one player that is built. I could see him as a good 6th man off the bench for the Dubs but I would rather see a small forward here. If i'm Larry Riley I am buying the unlimited minutes plan right now from his local cell phone provider because he better be on the phone a ton tonight looking for trades.
